Uber Testing a Plan to Allow Drivers to Set Their Own Rates

Uber is trying out a new method to charge for its rides.

They are piloting programs at airports in Santa Barbara, Sacramento and Palm Springs to allow drivers to set their own rates.

It's part of a plan for Uber to get around the state's new gig-work law..AB 5.
