Treasure Trove Of Data To Fight Superbugs

This morning the Pew Charitable Trusts and South San Francisco-based biopharmaceutical company Achaogen are announcing an agreement to share data from Achaogen’s discontinued antibiotic research program on Pew’s open-access platform, SPARK.

The data is considered a treasure trove that will now be available for free to scientist around the world in hopes of developing new antibiotics that can defeat superbugs.
