The streets in downtown San Francisco have become so congested that traffic planners are looking to the East Coast for solutions..specifically the busy streets of Manhattan.

People there are proposing a plan to charge a fee for drivers, with the New York City Mayor supporting a congestion pricing plan.

The idea of congestion pricing may not fly here, but it's worth exploring.
