The push to get young people to participate in the election process hits home to one young lady who is a student at Lowell High School in San Francisco.

Ella Yitzhaki is only 17 years old but has followed politics since she was 10.

She's now on a quest for a constitutional amendment in California to lower the voting age 17, so she can vote in the 2020 Presidential primary.

To find out more, KCBS Radio News anchor Jim Taylor spoke with Ella earlier today.
