Philadelphia Nonprofit Approved to Open a Safe Injection Site

San Francisco has grappled with the issue of whether not to open a safe injection site in the city.

Now, the City of Brotherly Love will be allowed to do just that.

A federal judge issued a ruling that allows the nonprofit Safehouse in Philadelphia to open the nation's first supervised  injection site in an effort to combat the opioid epidemic.
