San Francisco prosecutors say they are taking a break from pursuing charges against people who have been cited for sleeping on the street. KCBS Radio, KPIX-5, and Chronicle Insider Phil Matier explains that San Francisco has a “sit lie law,” which means a person cannot sit on the city streets during certain times of the day.
