Phil Matier: Does PG&E Owe Money to Those Affected by Safety Shutoff?

The Bay Area is recovering after last week's PG&E power shutoff, however, many are still fuming. Governor Gavin Newsom is asking the utility to show accountability for what he calls "mismanaged public safety power shutoffs", so he's asking for a $100 dollar rebate per residential customer and $250 dollars for each small business affected.

KCBS Radio, KPIX-5, and Chronicle Insider Phil Matier spoke about the likelihood of PG&E following through with the request.
