Phil Matier: Cracked Window On the Millennium Tower

The deadline has passed for the owners of the leaning Millennium Tower in San Francisco to make sure that any glass falling from the building would not reach the sidewalk below. Last week, a window on the 36th floor cracked. KCBS Radio, KPIX-5, and Chronicle Insider Phil Matier says the Department of Building Inspection is threatening to yellow-tag the building if nothing is done soon. The owners of the building plan to put scaffolding on the two sides of building that face the sidewalks in order to prevent glass hitting the sidewalk
