Otis Taylor Jr.: City of Martinez Hot-Spot for Backlash Against BLM

The City of Martinez has become a hot-spot for a backlash against the Black Lives Matter movement.

First, a couple were caught trying to paint over a city-approved Black Lives Matter mural on the 4th of July.

They have since been arrested and charged with a hate crime.

And investigators are looking into who painted a White Lives Matter mural on a street a couple of miles away.

San Francisco Chronicle East Bay Columnist Otis Taylor Jr. writes about the backlash in today's paper. KCBS Radio's Patti Reising and Jeff Bell spoke with him earlier today.
