Montecito Marks One Year of Recovery After Deadly Mudslide

KCBS Radio: On-Demand
Wednesday, January 9th
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the deadly mudslide in Montecito,  which killed 23 people and damaged or destroyed hundreds of properties in the posh Southern California town. The bodies of two children were never recovered.

Like all natural disasters, the destruction comes quick, but repairing the damage can take a long time.

For more on the recovery and rebuilding, KCBS' Jeff Bell and Patti Reising spoke with the senior reporter for KEYT TV, John Palminteri.
