Longtime PBS News Anchor Jim Lehrer Dead At 85

The longtime television news anchor Jim Lehrer has died at the age of 85.

Lehrer was known for his understated, thoughtful and unbiased style. He spent 36 years as a newsman for PBS where he founded the program now known as the "PBS NewsHour" and served as moderator for 12 presidential debates, more than any other journalist.
