Getting outside for a walk is one of the ways the Bay Area is trying to cope with the shelter at home orders.

Last weekend many parks and recreational areas were jammed with people. Highway 1 near Half Moon Bay was paralyzed at near gridlock conditions.

KCBS Radio and San Francisco Chronicle Outdoors Editor Tom Stienstra has been taking heat for this. He was even accused of forcing the closure of a grocery store in Point Reyes.
