India And Pakistan Avoiding A Nuclear Nightmare

The Crisis Next Door
Thursday, March 14th
India and Pakistan came closer than anyone wants recently to their first all-out war in decades. The big difference now is that both are armed with nuclear weapons.

Joining The Crisis Next Door to talk about preventing a nuclear nightmare between the longtime rivals is retired Ambassador Husain Haqqani, Hudson Institute Senior Fellow and Director for South and Central Asia. He served as Pakistan's ambassador to the U-S from 2008-2011, and was an adviser to four Pakistani Prime Ministers, as well as serving as Pakistan's ambassador to Sri Lanka in 92-93.
