Governor Newsom's Rejection Of PG&E Reflects Widespread Criticism Of Utility

Governor Newsom blasted PG&E's $13.5 billion dollar settlement plan with wildfire victims in a five page letter Friday.

Newsom says the restructuring plan does not satisfy AB 1054, a new state law which would shield PG&E from future fire liabilities provided the company makes significant safety improvements.
