FBI Data Shows Hate Crimes Are on the Rise

The FBI's latest statistics show a 17-percent increase in reported hate crimes, totalling nearly 7,200 violent incidents across the nation last year.

It's the third consecutive year that hate crimes have been on the rise, and the majority of incidents target a person's race or ethnicity.
