Contentious Opening to Kavanaugh Confirmation Hearings

Today is the first day the Senate Judiciary Committee is conducting confirmation hearings to decide whether or not to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. So far the hearings have been contentious with Democrats insisting on obtaining and reviewing more documents relating to Kavanaugh's work in the George W. Bush administration. To find out more about the hearings, KCBS Radio news anchors Jeff Bell and Patti Reising spoke with Constitutional Law Professor Sam Erman from the University of Southern California.
