Carless Community Breaks Ground

A San Francisco-based developer has broken ground on a new apartment complex in Arizona that would house 1,000 people, but not their cars.

Culdesac describes itself as the first "post-car real estate developer" with a vision for communities focused on transit and alternate forms of transportation rather than parking lots.
