Carcinogen Found Under Oakland School Widespread In Bay Area

Trichloroethylene, the carcinogen known as TCE that prompted the closure of an Oakland high school Thursday after it was found under the school, has a long history in the Bay Area.

UCSF School of Medicine professor Dr. Samuel Goldman researches TCE and tells KCBS Radio anchor Rebecca Corral that living in the Bay Area is like living in a "toxic soup."
