The flood risk in areas all over the U.S., including here in the Bay Area, is much worse than originally thought.

That, according to a new calculation on sea level rise done by The First Street Foundation, which created a new flood model, called Flood Factor, using elevation and rainfall data, and coastal flooding estimates from hurricanes.

For more on the impact of these conditions here in the Bay Area, KCBS Radio news anchors Jeff Bell and Patti Reising spoke with Matthew Eby, Founder and Executive Director of the First Street Foundation.
