September 11, 2018 - 10:07 am

OAKLAND (KCBS Radio) — Single-game tickets for the Golden State Warriors go on sale to the public Thursday, although certain groups will have exclusive pre-sale opportunities a day earlier, according to the team.

The Warriors, who have won two straight NBA championships and three in four years, are set to play their final season at Oracle Arena in Oakland before moving across the Bay to the new Chase Center in San Francisco in 2019.

The team tips off the season at home against Oklahoma City on Oct. 16, when the team will raise its 2018 championship banner.

The first pre-sale event for single-game tickets is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday for the team's season ticket holders, and a second is scheduled for 11 a.m. for season ticket priority wait list members, Warriors officials said.

A final pre-sale event will be available at 10 a.m. Thursday for all Warriors Insiders, and tickets will then be sold to the general public starting at 2 p.m. Thursday.

People can buy tickets at www.warriors.com, (888) GSW-HOOP or by visiting the Oracle Arena box office.
