In a long-ago but memorable "Saturday Night Live" segment, the late comedian Gilda Radner--in her "Roseanne Roseannadanna" persona--told a mythical viewer, "You sure ask a lot of questions."

That pretty well describes my longtime KCBS Radio partner Susan Leigh Taylor and me. We're coming up on 18 years of working together. On an average day, we'll do 5 live interviews. Do the math: that's a lot of interviews and yes, a lot of questions.

But often, it feels like we could ask a few more questions of an interesting guest. Thus: "10 Questions With Stan and Susan", our new podcast series available from Radio.com and iTunes (handy links at the bottom of this post).

We inaugurated the series with a fascinating talk with UC Berkeley management professor Morten Hansen. His new book "Great At Work: How Top Performers Do Less, Work Better and Achieve More" offers some powerful insights gleaned from the study of thousands of people. The takeaway: maybe all that hard work you're doing isn't getting you ahead.

The premise for "10 Questions With Stan and Susan" is simple: we and our producer Nic Palmer will track down interesting people doing interesting things...and then ask exactly ten questions.
