SFPD Investigating Mission Street Triple Shooting That Killed 30 Year-Old

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) - Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on a busy street in San Francisco's Mission District Saturday night, killing a 30-year-old man and wounding two other men.

Around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Mission Street, between 17th and 18th streets, after hearing gunshots in the vicinity.

There, officers found the three victims on the ground. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity has not been released, pending notification of his family, according to the city's medical examiner's office.

The two other men, both 20 years old, were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

A description of the suspect and their vehicle was not immediately available.
