SFPD Finds Man Shot In The Tenderloin

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) - Police in San Francisco Friday morning are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

Officers with the San Francisco Police Department responded at 4:38am to the 1600 block of Polk Street, near Geary on a report of a shooting and located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital. Police said the suspect fled the area after the incident.

No other information about the shooting was immediately available.
