Grammy-Nominee Kehlani Headlines The SF Pride Parade and Main Stage

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) - If the San Franciso Pride wasn't big enough, its even bigger with Grammy-nominated R&B artist Kehlani performing on the Main Stage on Sunday, June 24th.

Alaska Air is presenting the Bay Area native who headlines the stage, along with dance music artist Yaeji, Manhattan-raised Hip Hop rapper Le1f, TV's 'Pose' writer/producer and one of SF Pride's grand marshalls 'Our Lady J. Disco queen, Evelyn “Champagne” King will also be performing on the Main stage at this year's Pride Festival.

Considered one of the biggest and longest running parades in the world, the hugely popular SF Pride Parade happens on Sunday morning, June 24th. It features over 280 contigents including reporters and anchors from KPIX 5 TV, companies like Blue Shield, Smirnoff, xFinity, LinkedIn and Kaiser Permanente. Alaska Air, who is a Principal Sponsor will feature Kehlani on their float, along with the Hype-Man for the World Champion Golden State Warriors Franco Finn.

The parade starts at 10:30am and is expected to see over 100,000 spectators. It runs from the Embarcadero, along Market Street and ends at Civic Center Plaza, where Kehlani will perform.

KPIX 5 will telecast the Pride Parade live on their website kpix.com, with a rebroadcast the following Saturday on KBCW 44 Cable 12 starting at 8:00pm.

Celebrations for SF Pride started all week, but the main days run the weekend of June 24 & 25, and is free to the public. Details available at their website, www.sfpride.org.
