SAN JOSE — San Jose police are searching for a vandal accused of drawing swastikas outside of a dentist's office this week.

Police on Wednesday released images from surveillance recordings that show a shaggy-haired white man who allegedly defaced the Muslim dentist's property with the white supremacist images on Sunday.

The suspect may be responsible for other property crimes, San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.

"We believe that he is not only responsible for drawing the swastika symbols on the ground in that business, but we also think that he's also caused other acts of vandalism on that property on prior occasions," Garcia said.

The footage shows a man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds with long brown hair, a mustache, beard and a tattoo on his right forearm, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the San Jose police at 408-277-4161.
