SJ Police Arrest 4 in Major Drug Operation

Drugs, Cash, Weapons Seized

SAN JOSE (KCBS Radio) -- Police announced the arrest of four suspects in what authorities described as a "highly-organized criminal organization" involved in the manufacture and sale of narcotics.

San Jose Police said Wednesday night that search and arrest warrants had been served in an operation involving the SJPD, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, U.S.. Postal Inspectors, and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

Police said the operation culminated a two-year investigation and led to the seizure of a variety of contraband: over 800 pounds of marijuana, concentrated hash oil, cocaine, Xanax bars, Ecstasy pills, handguns, and a rocket launcher.

Four men were arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
