SAN JOSE (KCBS Radio) -- We know where it was sold. We're waiting to learn who bought the $522 million winning ticket in Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery drawing.

Officials with the 44-state Mega Millions lottery say the ticket was sold at Ernie's Liquors on South White Road in San Jose.  Store owner Kawal Sachdev told KPIX5 he was taking a nap when he got a call from one of his employees. "I jumped right up and came over," Sachdev said.

Sachdev said he sold about 4,000 Mega Millions tickets in the days before the Tuesday drawing, but he has no idea which of his customers might be the winner. And of course, he's a winner, too: the retail outlet will receive $1 million from Mega Millions.

The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night were 1, 2, 4, 19 and 29, with the Mega Ball number 20.

Mega Millions officials calculated the jackpot at $522 million, which would make it the third-largest single-ticket Mega Millions jackpot and the 11th-largest lottery win of any kind in US history.

The estimated one-time cash payout value is $308 million.
