SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) -- Gas prices keep dropping. The latest numbers show Bay Area prices are down by more than 20 cents a gallon from a month ago and about 5 cents a gallon compared to last week.

The latest AAA report shows regular gas is averaging about $3.55 a gallon in Oakland,  $3.49 a gallon in San Jose, and $3.69 a gallon in San Francisco.

California still has the priciest gas in the nation--with the cheapest fuel in the country now being found in Missouri. Folks there are paying about $2.00 a gallon for regular.

Pump prices keep falling as the price of crude oil slides. The U-S price of oil is down by nearly a third from its peak in early October.
