This week, KCBS Radio's Entertainment Reporter Jan Wahl reviews Amy Schumer's comedy I Feel Pretty. Females young and older in this country, right now are experiencing a crisis of confidence. No amount of plastic surgery, eating disorders or beauty products seem to cure it. Schumer's character is obsessed with beauty. When she gets in an accident a tremendous attitude adjustment occurs. Suddenly she's confident. Suddenly she sees herself as the most beautiful woman in the world.

It is a funny smart movie. It belongs to Schumer. She's terrific and courageous in it. A lot of wacky comedy too, she is a comedienne. Not too much "sexuality" for teens since this is a movie that just may have people talking about the topic of "self-esteem" in a new way. It's a good date movie, great for females to get together and have a blast. You might leave thinking to yourself that confidence is an inside job. That's what Schumer is trying to say and she finds an entertaining way to say it.
