The San Francisco 49ers deny an accusation from former linebacker Reuben Foster's ex-girlfriend that team officials interfered when she called 911 to say she'd been assaulted recently by the troubled player.

Elissa Ennis told Good Morning America that 49ers officials tried to influence police in Tampa, Fla. who arrived at the team's hotel to investigate her complaint that Foster, 24,, had slapped her across the face and pushed her on Nov. 24.

Ennis, 28, who has previously recanted other accusations of domestic abuse by Foster, claimed to have photos of the 49ers officials

“I have pictures of the 49ers coming up there trying to talk to police and trying to say I’m the same ex-girlfriend that sat there and lied,” Ennis said on Good Morning America.

A team spokesman disputed Ennis' account, saying that the team cooperated with law enforcement and did not attempt to influence the outcome.

Police arrested Foster, charging him with domestic violence battery. The 49ers cut Foster before their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

She had accused Foster in February of assaulting her, but the charges were dismissed when she said in court she had lied. She now says that her testiomny was the lie.

"Because I loved him," she said, when asked why she lied under oath. "Love will have you doing things that isn't in your best interest."

The Santa Clara County district attorney's office will not prosecute Ennis for perjury.
