Cold Weather, Heavy Rainfall Expected For Northern California This Holiday Week

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) — Tuesday will be breezy with a chance of rain in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 50s. West winds will be 5 to 10 mph, increasing to southwest west winds at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 50 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday night will be very windy with rain and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening and a chance of showers after midnight. Lows will be in the upper 40s. West winds will be 30 to 45 mph, before becoming 20 to 30 mph after midnight.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Northwest winds will be 10 to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
