The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for areas burned by the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County as a cold front is expected to move across Northern California at the end of this week.

The watch will be in effect from 4 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.

Weather service officials said heavy rainfall may lead to rockslides, debris flow and flash floods in the burn areas and locations downstream.

The Kincade Fire burned nearly 78,000 acres over 13 days this fall.
