KCBS Radio Wins 10 Associated Press Television And Radio Awards

Including Eight First Place Awards

KCBS Radio is the proud winner of 10 Associated Press Television and Radio Association Awards for coverage in 2019, including eight first place and two second place awards.

APTRA covers 13 western states and KCBS Radio won more awards than any station. APTRA selected the station as the overall Oustanding News Operation in the Radio I category. KCBS Radio also won awards for Best Reporter, Best Evening Newscast, Best Documentary, Best Enterprise Reporting, Best Special Programming, Best Public Service, Best Spot News Coverage and Best Weather Reporting.

The honors were given for a wide spectrum of KCBS Radio news coverage:
