Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Undergoes Gallbladder Treatment

Will Participate In Oral Arguments Remotely From The Hospital

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent non-surgical treatment for actue cholecystitis, a benign galbladder condition, Tuesday afternoon at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

According to a press release from the court, following oral arguemnts on Monday, the Jsutice underwent outpatient tests at Sibley Memorial Hosptial that confirmed she was suffering from a gallstone tahat had migrated to her cystic duct.

Justice Ginsburg is said to be resting comfortably and plans to participate in the Supreme Court's orgal argument teleconference tomorrow morning remotely from the hospital.

Ginsrubg is expected to remain in the hosptial for another few days following the arguments.
